Baxter is a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He graduated from Jesuit High School in 1997 and received his bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies and Spanish from the University of New Orleans in 2002.
Throughout college Baxter worked in the service industry as a waiter at numerous New Orleans dining establishments. He also worked as a production assistant in the bustling New Orleans film business and even had a stint as a 3rd grade teacher at A. P. Tureaud Elementary. In 2006 after returning from Katrina exile in Austin, Texas, he got his real estate license and began working as an agent at a Uptown brokerage. In 2009 Baxter joined the French Quarter Realty team.
Baxter’s experience in real estate includes sales and rentals, residential and commercial. He’s sold and leased properties in the French Quarter, Marigny, Bywater, Mid-City, Uptown, Irish Channel, Broadmoor, Metairie, Old Jefferson, New Orleans East, The Westbank and even the Northshore.
When not at work selling real estate you may find Baxter working in his vegetable garden at his house in Broadmoor, walking his beagle around the park or inventing a delicious new dish in his kitchen.
He is also an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and a huge Saints and Hornets fan.
